USDC and EURC payments for WooCommerce
bb84 Payments for WooCommerce adds BB84 as a payment method. Customers pay in the BB84 app, and the order is marked paid automatically when the payment arrives, with the transaction hash saved on the order. No API key, no account with us, and the plugin never holds funds.
Set up in three steps
- Install. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the ZIP and activate it.
- Enter your BB84 name. Under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → bb84, enter your name (for example
shop.bb84.eth) and enable the method. The plugin checks that the name is registered. - Set the currency. Use EUR (paid in EURC) or USD (paid in USDC) as the store currency.
For the 0.5% merchant rate and payouts in about 2 hours, register your name as a merchant.
What your customers see
- Checkout. They choose “Pay with bb84” and place the order. It goes on hold while the payment is open.
- Pay. The thank-you page and the order email show amount, recipient and purpose, and a button that opens the BB84 app with everything filled in.
- Done. As soon as the payment arrives on-chain, the thank-you page switches to “Payment received” and the order moves to processing.
How orders are matched
Every order gets its own payment purpose, for example Order-1042-K7QX. It goes on-chain with the payment, so the plugin can match it to the order through <name>.bb84.com/api/paid. Payments are sent as merchant payments (goods & services) with buyer protection for the customer; the 0.5% fee is deducted from the amount you receive, and payments of at least 99% of the order total count as paid.

FAQ
How is a payment confirmed?
WP-Cron checks open BB84 orders every two minutes, and the thank-you page checks every few seconds while the customer waits. A payment only completes an order when its on-chain purpose matches the order. A payment of the right amount without a purpose is added as an order note for you to check by hand.
What happens to unpaid orders?
They stay on hold (stock reserved) for the payment window, 12 hours by default and at most 23, and are then cancelled. A payment that still arrives within 24 hours of the order reopens it and marks it paid.
Which store currencies work?
EUR (paid in EURC) and USD (paid in USDC). With any other store currency the payment method is hidden at checkout.
Do I need an API key or an account?
No. The plugin only reads the public pages of your name on <name>.bb84.com. You only need a BB84 name, ideally registered as a merchant for the 0.5% merchant rate and fast payouts.
How do refunds work?
BB84 is non-custodial, so you send refunds from your BB84 app and mark the order refunded in WooCommerce by hand.
